I have been going through the 100 quarter bag I just got from the mint and so far on four of the P WV quarters there looks to be an error on the obverse. The error is located at the bottom of GW from the left to the right it looks like his neck is speared. Will try and get some photos.
On the reverse of all these coins it also looks like the river is leaking on the left side. The coins that don't have the spear mark on the obverse also do not have a leaky river on the reverse.
Hi, Not sure of the problem on the reverse, but the obverse is definitely the result of a die crack. hat's extremely common on this obverse design. Have Fun, Bill
