GTG Draped Bust Quarter

    It's in an old green label PCI holder. Another Bowers auction from 30 years ago. I sent it to PCI and it came back better than what Bowers had called it. The holder changed the color over the years. Not sure what I think of it.

    I think that it just makes VF-20. The conservative grade would be Fine-15.

    VF-20. This is die marriage B-1, using the same obverse and reverse dies used in the creation of 1805 B-4.

    Can you describe the color changes due to the holder?

    Could it have graded VF25 based on residual luster?
