Lol I dont know if I want the 28 to tone. It has original skin. It came out of a pretty old collection. As for the 1959 split planchet, I weighed it when i got it but cant remember for sure what it weighed exactly. I will dig it out again and let you know.
I was only talking about putting a light skin on it, not an altered skin, just a new environment. How was the past coupe of years, been crazy a little south of you. I still hit the coin shops, one of these days we are gonna cherry pick the shops I know here in the Metro.
Ah I gotcha. I almost went to the show down in Colorado Springs back on the tenth, to submit some coins to PCGS, but between the turnaround times and work I decided to wait. I may or may not have cherry picked a 1909 non VDB cent with very square rims and a very square reflective edge... Story for another day. I need to hit some coin shops but all I do is work, eat, sleep, and check ebay. I have a few more finds yet to post still as well.
I haven't stopped working either for the past 2 years. I just get the liberty to hunt materials all over the metro. The Pawn shops have started getting new supply. Just a reference to survival, I have been cherry picking them for a few mnths. Last score was two 99 Silver proof sets for $26 each out the door. A couple 01's 02's a 12' and a 14' for the same price. There are quite a few other shops that also tend to have a few buys. Everyone needs to take a few days off here and there.
