I didn't place any more bids HONEST... but I never ever expected a week old bid of 150 to end up winning... Not for any condition 1909s... but it did... BUT WAIT!!! There's More!!! I didn't bid on a 1909s vdb... I bid on a roll.... I'm crapping myself here... is gonna be a long hard wait on this package lol... (also the most I've EVER bid on a roll of pennies lol)
Oh hell yeah I've been shopping for an 09s for a long time (is on the top of my list with this little ins settlement) but I NEVER expect this bid to win lol
You got a seeded roll. a 1909S - G4 is ~$75 based on numismedia a "VDB" which is 99.99% a 1909P vdb, so like ~$10. You've got a ways to go to recoup your $150. I hope you make it but I don't think you will. Looking forward to seeing what you end up getting.
NGC lists a g4 1909s vdb in it's price guide at $725, I think numismedia is a bit out of date I'd give you the PCGS value as well but the price guide seems to be down at the moment of course it might not be a VDB but we will see lol
I hope so. 09 S in G4 is about a $60 coin and 09 VDB in VF is about a $10 coin - I hope you have $80 in the other 48. Obviously if they are all 09 S or VDB or better yet at least 1 09 s vdb then all will be well. Sorry if I am skeptical. I really do hope it works out.
https://www.pcgs.com/auctionprices Thats a better tool for prices As far as the roll, it's almost certainly just an 09 S in the front and an 09 VDB in the reverse. People salt these rolls like that to get people thinking its an ultra rarity. That said you could possibly come out ahead if everything is real since you didnt get carried away bidding like what often happens with these
Good luck but most of the time these are just a joke,i guarantee most likely a 1909 S ender and a v.d.b ender to spice things up.Then the rest will be crap 1940's 1950's but who knows!!!.Also it's worth a try to look for RPM's OMM's and doubled dies if you can,no turning back now.
Momma always said, 'if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all'. I'm crossing my fingers you get lucky @mrweaseluv
Hey I may be a lil overly optimistic with a side of wishful thinking but even I wouldn't dream of that kind of luck lol
Naw, that one's just worn because they've been on the end exposed to friction and air since it was rolled in early 1909. I'm sure the ones inside are still red.
