You've heard of bacon...right? Too many of just about any critter can cause big problems. And in a short period of time too.
I wouldn't eat a wild one. Some folks around here do. But if you kill a few the others won't come back.
They can smell the frying bacon too!! I must be conditioned to eat the commercially raised livestock. The fatty texture/taste I suppose over the leaner meat of wild game. But I like the idea that when we are being overrun by critters, it's win-win if the critter can be taken for food.
