    Good morning,
Yesterday I went on a 6 hour Metal Detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Prospect Park. On Friday the weather stated a 80% Chance of rain for most of the day. And Saturday turned out beautiful with no rain!

6 US Silver Coins (I now have detected 13 for 2022)
    2 - Silver War Nickels
2 - Winged Liberty Head Dimes
2 - Silver Roosevelt Dimes (Rosies)

Nice haul. Do coins from Barbados turn up very often?

In Brooklyn NYC you have areas that have imigrants from different Caribbean nations. I have detected Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad coins..
I have found many over the years. Like the Latin American coins such as Columbia, Mexico and Dominican Republic.

Nice Haul @paddyman98. Is Prospect Park older than the other parks? ;)

@paddyman98 I couldn't find the previous thread so I'll ask here.
You cashed in some of your recent finds, What happened to the baggie
    full of "rejects"? Just curious.

So glad you got out. The weather here was the same as you stated and it was a beautiful day until late afternoon when it did rain. 6 silver coins in 6 hours of detecting is 1 per hour. That’s nice. Wish you could find 1 per hour every time.

    Good question..
I have had plenty of rejects in all my Coinstar visits.
I keep them in a huge plastic container. I try to clean them once more to see if they take. But the majority of the time they are just too far gone. I plan to throw hundreds of them away one day.

Talking about toned environmentally damaged clad coins.. Look at all I find in most of my hunts :yack:

Yesterday all the Cupro-Nickel clad and 1 Nickel were dark toned. Not even soaking them in soap and water can bring them back to their original luster.

Those dimes sure look to be in great condition, especially the 1944 and the 1955.
Nice find, as always. Keep up the good work.

Very nice Paddy. That 55-D is low mintage. And great war nickels, and everything.
