I have not been able to find anything similar to this error online. I call it the pregnant horse! It is a 1999 P Delaware State Quarter

That's cool. Guessing die chip well. Interesting enough to keep that's for sure. I would NOT have it graded. Put it in an airtite to protect it from being scratched. Wait for more opinions...

Technically it is an error, but die chips are so common on coinage that they rarely have on-line info about them.

I found a weird version of a die chip as well. I bought a roll of quarters maybe 12 years ago that had 7 of the same die chip on them on Wyoming quarters. I kept all 7, but gave 1 to a friend Steve that used to work at our coin shop in my town. I will take pics when I get home from work tonight. To give you a hint of what it looks like I will tell you what I have named it..."Cow pie on cowboy hat version". lol photos tonight.

Welcome to CT @Kyle Ibasfalean. Cool find, but to have a coin graded, it should be worth at least more than the grading costs, which that quarter does not command, so NO, don't have it graded unless you simply wish to keep it in your collection and want it in a slab.
Remember, collecting is all about enjoying your finds and keeping what you wish, spending your money as you see fit.
    Good luck.

The perfect name because it looks like a cow pie. You got me laughing. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find one one day. :)

Interesting for your collection. You could name it, date it, and slab it yourself. Enjoy it and let your heirs figure it out! Just my opinion good luck.

This coin came with a collection I bought from someone else. I bought it for $27 and it is 108 error quarters! But they are 1999 state quarters.

Many minor errors really don't have high premiums or any premium at all.

FYI.. You would send a mint error to have it Attributed not just Graded. It's an extra processing fee and can get very costly.

And.. Suggestion.. Create your future error questions over at the Error Coins forum not the What's it Worth forum. First find out what you may have then worry about worth.

And stop spending a lot of money on stuff if you're not totally sure what your getting. That's a common newbie mistake.
