The money produced 1500-1850 was truly too nice to spend Had I been around in 1700/ probably would have kept all those freshly minted silver Talers/ gold Dukaten for my coll./ straved in the process....
But, why not at least mint "collector " coins that are beautifull? Its a win win/ collectors are happy/ mint sells lots of coins=$$$$ A great idea would be to do "restrikes" of coins they produced in 1600-1800 Like what Austria did for their 1915 4 Dukaten/ 100 Coronas....
I like Norway coins. In fact I have over 550 of them. My only complaint is the 10 ore coins are so small.
