Today's cherry pick <1855> Half Dime V-4A

    The <1855> V-4A dime marriage now < 17 known specimens to exist..... ! "Only rarer is the <1855 > V-7 a DDO ."

    Now the clashs marks are a dead give away for both the V-4 A as well the V-7 . However the V- 7 has an extra horizontal line in the shield. Rounding up these crazy die marriages is fun at times. This specimen has a bisecting die crack on its reverse. s-l1600-4.jpg s-l1600-5.jpg

    Last year I was fortunate enough to pick this <1855> o V-2b obv.2 rev. 3 < 6 known specimens to exist.
    These are very rare so ...that they havent been given an R value. 20211114_105041.jpg 20211114_105023.jpg
    This particular specimen was written up in Error scope magazine.
