Yes its the real deal a normal 1968 cent.No mint mark means it was minted at Philadelphia,still a cent.

 

It is a normal, ordinary cent. Well circulated. Worth one cent.

 

Good looking VF-XF, if there is still some luster left?

There were 1.7 billion minted, so it’s probably the real deal.

 

Just a tip for future reference Mr. Hansen. It would be advisable to let readers know what in particular you want confirmed. Leaving it wide open like that can invite snarky remarks from some readers. I read this forum for 8 or 9 months before I posted a thread on here, and snark was flyin thick . Made me wonder bout whether or not to post....martha. Nice photos btw.

I was about to welcome you to CT but then see you've been on here for 4 years. You maybe a novice collector, but surely you should know a 1968 cent with no mint mark was minted in Philadelphia and completely normal.
Not trying to beat up on you, but do you own a Red Book? There were over 1.7 billion minted, so you are going to find them in circulation.

I asked because I have never visited etsy site. I have heard so many bodacious clap trap stories about them from members on here. That is repugnant.
