Which is best the case or presentation and preserving my coin. If I were to sell something, what’s the best presentation of it?
    Any opinions appreciated. Thanks!

The answer to that is gonna depend on the personal taste of whoever is thinking about buying it. And since you can't ever know what their taste is, a plain vanilla wrapper - which translates as a flip - is probably your best choice for presentation.

And in a way that kind of answers the second part of your question because potential buyers are going to have different opinions on how they want to store the coin as well. Some will prefer flips, others 2x2s, yet others Air-Tite holders or slab type holders. So again go with the flip and let them make their own choice because you can't ever guess what their choice may be.

Pam, if you are trying to sell a coin, I agree with what GDJMSP said. If the display if mainly for you, I think you should just do some searching and find what you like! There are a lot of web sites that offer display options! Good luck!

Fellows are correct. Display is entirely a personal thing. As far as making them attractive to a potential buyer.... If the coin doesn't merit being slabbed, I always thought the old Capitol holders made a coin look pretty snappy.

There is also a third option which would probably be in the middle as far as cost to you to present. Snap Lock holders which have a frosted look on the outside and clear center. They are available for most U.S. coins. Some are plain Jane varieties and others, for specific coins, have a nice background to highlight the coin. Wizard Coin Supply should give you an idea or two.
