Do you have a copy stand to hold the camera?

This is why it's more of an art than a science. LOL But it's fun to find the right angles and type of lighting. ;)

Know how much a macro full-frame Nikkor mirror less camera lens costs? lol

Ok, here it is. All I can say is that I find it hard to justify the grade. It is right on the edge of DMPL, and PL, but with the intense cameo, it could easily have gotten the DMPL.

As regards grade, it is flat out ludicrous. The cheek business is frost breaks, so I cannot see anything holding it back from 65 or 65+. This coin is a likely cross to NGC for minimum grade 65 DMPL. I think it might well make the grade in both departments.

Actually, I do not but if it's anything like other macro lenses that I am familiar with it's probably not inexpensive. I was actually referring to the enlarging lens that @jtlee321 is using. It's on my wish list to replace the old Kodak enlarging lens I'm currently using..

Oh, and I nailed the grade....;)

This one was lower than expected. It’s an excellent coin for the given grade!

Thanks. I think this one goes to NGC, for a minimum grade of 65 DPL. It is worth the shot, as it is so close. I sent the photo to my friend there, and they think it is worth the try.

These are the coins I hunt for. Coming across them and buying them at the graded price almost feels illegal. Nice pick!

Yeah, the Rodenstock is absolutely beautiful! And the price is not bad for the quality. You can find them for a good deal if you are patient on eBay.

I think you are right. It is woefully undergraded. Then again, I was able to get a coin that looks 65 borderline DMPL for low to mid 64 money.

My 80 is still running GTG, but I think I did similar.. paid list for the grade on the slab but seriously think it would regrade higher :D

I just weighed in on your 80s GTG. You probably agree with what I said. :)
