I have 3 gold coins minted by the Franklin Mint, as follows: British Virgin Islands, each dated 1492-1992, commemorating Christopher Columbus. $500 coin has Columbus on it; $250 coin has Queen Isabella; $100 coin has King Ferdinand. My question: How many of these individual coins were minted? Thanks for any help.
Hmmm...Walmart is out of stock... https://www.walmart.com/ip/1992-British-Virgin-Islands-3-Coin-Gold-Columbus-Proof-Set/147139140
Welcome to CT! Hopefully someone will chime in, if not Google is your friend. Not many coin collectors bought from Franklin Mint as the gold content was usually lower percentage per coin than the US Mint. That said, since they're gold coins it's certainly worth the research. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203865930963?hash=item2f775b3cd3:g:ntYAAOSwYY9iLNhd
I enjoy the sense of humor on this forum. Sometimes, however, some folks who try to display such, expose their ignorance.
Actually, if you had followed CoinCorgi's link, you would have found your answer: Set Highlights: Set contains .5141 oz actual Gold weight.
Actually, I have that information. I was asking for the mintage amount of each coin. Perhaps his humor clouded your thinking, and that I was asking for the AGW. But that is ok. Happens to all of us at times.
Furthermore, the Ebay listing which CoinCorgi posted depicts the wrong coin(s) to which I referred. I do understand we sometimes confuse humor and misunderstanding as well.
No one asked about the AGW...not even you! You asked about the mintage. I didn't find any info, but I found an indication of availability by showing you a link to a sold out Walmart listing. Whatever... Did you find the mintage yet?
