Dime ,struck through grease and?

    Had found this dime awhile back, I thought it was just struck through grease but now I see a intent down through his head, any ideas.

    Looks like a dryer coin to Meow.

    Thank you, I guess I hadn’t even considered this for two reasons 1- I don’t know enough,2- I would have expected the reeded edge to have some damage based on the little I thought I knew. Thanks again learning all the time, retention is a prolblem but still trying to learn.

    Not a dryer coin the rims are to perfect.I agree with grease filled die nice find but (@paddyman98).

    I know pics are terrible but do you think the indent on head is damage?

    To be honest, we can't tell many details due to the picture quality, However; It seems to be a grease strike
