No profound earth shattering results, but perhaps a little improvement? Behold, the subject......... The following appear after the soak.......... 24 hour immersment. What cha think. Any improvement? As always, any and all comments gleefully accepted and appreciated.
I think the obverse looks a bit more mellow, less harsh after the dip, and the reverse seems to be just a bit crisper or a little more detail. But I think there is slight improvement in both sides. And the avitar reminds me of Clem Cadiddlehopper.
But you do not know Professor Fate? Clem was great too.......... But perhaps worth the task, if only to discover the futility behind reviving such a relic. Short order.........nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Nice job. The varying opinions show that visual improvement is subjective. One thing that was not mentioned is the importance of removing funk and gunk from the coin's surface. I think the conservation of the coin is a job well done.
Prior to the soak, the details on the coin's surfaces appeared to show outlines and details a little stronger than afterwards. Nice coin, all the same.
