My son sent me a coin which I have no idea of it's identity other than he said it was a Spanish Maravedi. I do not have any references for such coins, so I am asking for some help in identification. It weighs 6.0g and is 22 mm at it's widest point with a very nice chocolate patina. Any help is appreciated.

I checked my Aureo & Calico Book. By the weight/ size its a
4 Maravedis/ struck under Felipe III/ I cannot make out the date/ mint. He was King of Spain from 1598-1621.

I was going to suggest Philip IV & an 8 Maravedis.

I don't have the book though.
