…the coin roller made contact, the coin recessed, leaving only the partial ring…imo.

Martha, I can confirm it as well. In banking a long time and if there is one or two things I know here, the coin rolling damage and number two, these guys have been collecting a longgggg time. They would say if it’s yay or nay ASAP! Just a tip. Thanks.

Well that's a relief. I'm glad you could confirm that for me because I had no idea who those people were debating observable characteristics of those coins .....martha

Can we get pics at an angle @Martha Lynn ?
Does incuse mean flat, or are we talking really incuse/concave?

Not to beat a dead horse but those coins went in a large glass jar with their like , I would have to search for them. Oh yes. Incused would be something below the field of the coin. The flat part inside the circle formed by the rim. There is one on the other side too. Devices or PMD can occur below the field, or incused. Above that field would be in relief. Not to discount your interest but I would need to set up the cam rig to re photograph.....martha

No sir, sure didn't. I have one file on this cornputer dedicated to things just such as this. Makes for easy retrieval if I can remember the passwords to turn the thing on.

I will give you this example. And I assuming this but, but about sure the coin roll machine did this. Imagine my thoughts when I saw this. I would have posted ASAP a long time ago. 75E85C89-04C2-4DC5-94C0-10F4F578CF79.jpeg 61B85498-CD99-4557-8329-73D999A11B14.jpeg 6515C14D-62FF-4717-9E6B-3692FB58D01B.jpeg
