Search ebay with "Korea 1959" and you'll find at least one.

That bottle is for the collapse of the Kim regime. May have to pass it down as a famoly heirloom lpl.

As egotistical as Kim Jong-un is, you'd think he would have demanded new currency with his portrait on them. LOL

The "collapse of the Kim regime" has been predicted to happen "soon" for over 40 years now. Here's some news for everyone: It's not likely to happen anytime in this century... JMO.

Which is why I said it will end up being a family heirloom... As someone who has worked very closely with Korea for more than a decade, believe me, I know they aren't going anywhere.

Right. It's not that North Korea's "trajectory" is up, up, up, like that of South Korea. It's the fact that they have survived and thrived after several nation-crushing crises (such as the 1996-1997 devastating famines caused by floods, years they call the "Arduous March") that, if scaled appropriately for size and impact, would have destroyed pretty much any other country on this planet. North Korea survived them, AND went on to do things like make nukes and ensure their security going forward.

Anything can happen, but my money's on that regime's survival. Especially in the current rising trend of authoritarian thinking and governing that's becoming popular even in Western democracies.

I picked up this set about 20 years ago but can't remember from where.
