    I've been wanting to put together a war year short set of Mercury dimes. What got me started to vision this was a horse trade with Lord M . As coin #1 was from Rob in an old pcgs rattler 1945 P . So my next find Coin #2 is an 1944 D in a low number PCI photo grade slab.
    You see this set has to be in a old school slab, so old soap bar Anacs, fatty ngc, pcgs rattler, segs, just to name a few. But only 1941-1945 P D & S.
    I try and buy as many of these old Photo grades as I find and afford. Check out the slab number. My first that wasnt a silver dollar..

The rattler came from ebay but had the stacks auction history on it. I got the images from the old stacks auction. And another one I popped off the bay stupid cheap at 5:22am est time. That one came with truview!
