1783 8 reale

This is my first shipwreck coin and Spanish coin this old I like these.New seller so somewhat concerned but for 100 bucks why not?very fair price not usually this low it had 2 other people making offers so I was like screw it!!!has some pretty nice details,clean date and no distracting corrosion,a dark black Pinta is all.

I like it a lot! It has that shipwrecked look without being overly decrepit. I would have definitely dropped a Franklin on it. Nice score!

 

Nice. I live in a po dunk town..actually 20 miles in the sticks and don't go to any place nice enough to see a coin as nice as yours.

Why do you think it is a ship wreck coin? It looks like a well circulated late 18th century coin to me. Perhaps I miss something...
