A 1945-S War Nickel graded MS-66 by PCGS. Not even close to FS.

Nice nickel but I'm confused by the grade! Seems high to me!!!

Maybe one grade to high. Including the errors, there are 14 coins in a war nickel set. I have 8 of them. Forgot I bought them years ago, all PCGS MS-66. I’m now looking for the remaining 6 but my dealer tells me they are difficult to find.

We've got them all two or three times over but few at that grade. That one is every bit a 66. Good luck on completing the set. Maybe you're not looking hard enough in your attic. :)

Maybe it just makes MS66 but it is one tougher date & mint for having any decent steps at all. That makes up for it. Not that It has anything to do with grade, but it's a plus on a 45S.
