It sure is fun to find a note like this from circulation. I always check through the notes my wife gets from her business each week. I rarely find anything worth keeping.
This week was different, I found five $20 notes that I kept. Two 1977 notes in good condition, two 1981 notes in fine condition. And this one that definitively confirms to me these notes have been recently reintroduced to circulation.

Fun to discover a small portrait $20, and a star to boot.

These two 1981 note are quite crisp with no major folding in the middle.

Even these 1977 notes are in good to fair condition.
The first one is stained, coffee maybe.

Today at the fruit shop I received this NZ $10 polymer in change - now pulled from circulation. It turned out to be a rare to find P186b serial DA06 last prefix of year which doubles its resale value. Its a keeper, but there's a decent profit if I wanted to sell
