My coin collection has gotten pretty big over the years and I probably should get rid of some coins. I basically started with coins when I was very young and it now takes up two boxes. Some things are proof sets which I will not get rid of, but other things are LOTS of Susan B. Anthony dollar coins, at least 50 dollars worth. Along with this is a mox of foreign coins, Morgan Dollars, pennies, and lots of 50 state quarters. If anything I would probably get rid of some quarters. Besides having atleast 15 rolls froms states I got from the bank I have a lot of loose ones. Will these honestly ever be worth more than a quarter? If not I should just recirculate these.

I am also curious about grading coins. I mean some of these are not worth it, but how do I know which ones are? I would need to post pictures, but wont now. Just curious on how I should go about this.

For the state quarters - if you found them in circulation and have no interest in collecting them - you might try trading them to other collectors for coins you do want. There are many in the east and the west who have a hard time finding the D & P mm for their sets. So they are anxious to trade for these coins. If ya don't wanna do that - may as well spend 'em.

Regarding grading the coins - I would recommend you buy a copy of the ANA Grading Guide. No time like the present to start learning to grade ;) If you don't already have one - get yourself a Red Book. Go through it with your coins beside you. That will give you an idea of what is common and what is not. Then post a few pics and ask questions. It'll not only help you learn - but it's fun for us too ;)

Sure thanks. I will try to make a list of everything this or next weekend. It is a lot. I probably wont sell the quarters. And definetly not stuff on Ebay. I am keeping the proof sets. Just want to organize it all.

If I post about anything I will post the foreign coins. Some are close to 100 years old.
