Here's my library. The left half is mostly paper money books, and the right half is stamp stuff. The white catalogs on the second shelf are auction and sale catalogs from CGB (Compagnie Generale de Bourse) for the last 15 years or so - great reference for France sales.

Lettow: That's an impressive collection. You know how they say "Buy the book before the coin?" Well, I have a new saying for you: Buy the bookshelf before you buy the book!!! If you put another book on that thing, it's gonna collapse!!!

Yes, I guess I have.(lol)I finally finished making out a catalog of all the publications. Ranging from recent publications and going back as far to the 1860's. One book titled " The American Negotiator" by John Wright dates 1761.It give monetary exchange rates between England,America and the Caribbean Islands. It keeps me busy, but I enjoy it,especially obtaining information for the coin club meetings.It beats traveling to NYC to ANS to look up information or occasionally placing a order with ANA for the most part.

My messy Book shelf

I have others in closets that I can't locate now but here are a few.

I use to collect Souvinier car ( BEp & American Bank Note Co.,these albums are perfect for protecting & displaying them without damage to the card.

Here is a look inside the album just for and example,heavy paper card stock & well made albums.

Bob, Thanks for sharing your Souvenir Cards album too! I loved seeing that. Also that Evans History of the US Mint book looks awesome. I love the cover. From the title, I wonder which American coinage they consider 'Ancient' ? :eating:

 

Nice libraries everyone. My digital camera isn't working very well right now so no pics of my library. I'll try with my phone camera during the week. That Souvenir Card album is super. I'm going to look into getting one of those. I have a few cards and it would be nice to have a good place to store them.

Krispy,that is amazing it is exactly like the book I have from 1888,thanks now anyone can view it on Paper Money or anywhere they have INTERNET access.I appreciate you doing that I know a few people I would like to share this link with.
