I was noticing I have too many shillings in my Prime Number set (1663 Chaz 2, 1693 W&M, 1709 Anne, 1747 Geo 2), so I decided I should use a Crown for 1663. Either that or this coin was telling me I had too many shillings in my Prime Number set.

Great Coin @messydesk. I really like it.

And a very interesting and turbulent time in English history following the Protectorate.

1663 also marks the permanent disappearance of hammered coinage from Britain.
