Picked out some coins which hadn't been priced or packaged yet from a local shop.

A couple UK-minted wartime coins from Iceland.
Denmark was invaded in 1940 which interfered with coin production for Iceland.

    Right 1940 2 Aurar
Both were pretty cheap at $1 each.

A rare thaler purchase for me. Most larger German States denominations are outside my price range, and I tend to prefer quantity over quality. But this one was only $40, which seemed fair.

    Latvia, 1924, 1 Lats
I like interwar coinage from the Baltic states (and Danzig too, I guess).
These have a little bit of iridescent toning around the perimeter of the obverse when the light hits them at an angle. I had trouble capturing it with a camera.
I don't usually pay a premium for toned coins, as the market's tastes don't align well with mine. But these were the same price as some untoned ones, so I picked the two which I found the most attractive in coloration.

    Great set of world coins!
I particularly like that 1858 5 Kopek. I have a few of the later Catherine the Great ones but I've not seen an earlier one before.

    Thanks for sharing!
