1991 P Quarter Questions

    Not sure on this. To me it looks like a Partial Tilted Collar that didn't happen. Possibly a start of a Rim Cud? Edge of the quarter looks ok.     The reverse remains normal looks like a MAD to me but not your average one.

    Tilt sounds about right. And some damage to the collar too.

    I thought the edge reeds had to be effected but it looks normal.So would this be classified as a railroad rim then with some damage.

    If the reeding is normal, then it's a
    minor mis-aligned obv. die strike.

    Yes, @potty dollar 1878, and I probably should have stated that it looks like a witness mark from a collar clash (die affected but I imagine it affected the surface of the collar too).
