    That's what I gave all my relatives, for their coin collections (whether they want a coin collection or not :cool:) for Christmas last year. :rolleyes:

    I think he was meaning something like 1976 the year someone in your family was born, or the year someone got married! Very nice proof set! You're lucky to have it!! I gave two of my great nieces a birth year proof set for Christmas last year! They are great gifts IMO!!!

    Usually, there is some significance for the giver or recipient of a proof set.
