1652 schilling believe oak tree. I don't think this is authentic... usually not that lucky and something seems off on the lettering type...and possible casting indicators. Anyone have a value if this is a good fake? Believe it is silver, half the thickness of a quarter, and weighs 4.37 grams. Third pic shows edge and possible casting indicators?
Fake, and not a good one. Looks like a cast counterfeit and lettering is way off from a real piece. Possibly a tourist trinket?
That's a bad fake truly doubt its silver, ask this question. What would be the point to make a fake coin with silver. if it cost you an extra 5 bucks(more or less)for each one.The quarter right next to it you have is silvervalue?if you can destroy it.
It might be silver plated...used microfile and acid test on the filings.... stayed red. But since now I'm 100% it's fake instead of 98% I'll go ahead and really rip into it. Stay tuned lol.. got a nice hot fire going do let's melt her down
