Greetings all is the reverse of this 05 especially the writing in ocean in view a result of grease filled die, environmental or both? Also is that a guy crack on the left of the biggest tree heading west of the u in Unum? It's very small the best I could enlarging it. I checked variety Vista and there are so many errors with the trees and such I couldn't tell what's what. Thanks everybody

Grease filled die I believe. And yes, that is a die crack as well. Not bad. Also, you shouldn't look for die cracks on variety vista as there will be thousands of them, and theres no value in finding an attribution unless it's a super large one.

I think it’s just circulation wear, 17 years now…there are a ton of listed DDO/DDR at both VV and Wexler, most are 2005-P, and they are centrally located in the lower left branches of the right-hand tree, a few exceptions. You just have to take the time to check them all. That looks like a scratch, not a die crack.

I believe that’s just from circulation wear as it was a high sport as compared to the rest of the coin. I have quite a few rolls of all 4 of the designs that have never been opened.
