BTW, your coin looks a little bit MAD (MisAlligned Die) where the obverse die slipped a bit and so the con obverse is slightly off-center.

Okay so I'm coin roll hunting and I'm looking for errors and I was told about a 1982 transitional era and I do believe that this is one of them it's just in a extremely low quality and from what I understand that even though it is the said error and nobody's going to want it because it's not shiny copper so hence the if I only had a red to the the Tin Man of The wizard of Oz you know being as if it was only red then you know it's you get it LOL I was trying to be like a comedian and cute at the same time

Oh very cool! In my hunting I'm still finding errors but they're like the lesser errors like like where the coin looks like it's all Center but it's maybe two or three or five percent you know and I'm not even sure if that is the right technical term to put to it and I know that those aren't the well side after coins but aren't they still cool I mean to talk about and aren't there you know still you know I mean somebody with a lot of trouble to verify all these different varieties and all these different types I mean I mean what's use of having all that out there if it was like oh we don't care because it's not shiny red?

From the gist and I'm getting it doesn't matter what it had it's not shiny and red and that's kind of disheartening really

And you know I'm getting really confused because I was under the impression that the large date was the one that everybody was looking after like I've got a ton of those little small dates now I got to turn around and go back through them all because I was I was told there was all these transitions and there was there was one that wasn't found but then they found it but that any of them would would basically a command you know some attention because they were transitional errors I'm I'm so confused LOL but it was a great article

Yea i know but i was misaligned on which one wa in high demand out of all of these errors. I thought that they all were sought after because of the air itself and maybe one commanding a little bit more money because of you know the the how many were minted etc but the fact that it was just a transitional but I'm just I'm getting confused I need to slow down a little bit I guess and back up and and just maybe maybe revamping and and re-examine the stuff that up into this point because I'm I think I'm a little on overload LOL I think my brain might exploded just saying

I highly recommend you buy one...get a 2020 or 2021, same information, much cheaper, prices are moderately useless in them anyway (except for comparison)

It's normal.. There were 7 different varieties made in 1982. You have the first one on the list.

The only rare one was the 1982 Small date Copper and it's the first one on with a D mint mark which is not listed.. Only 2 have ever been discovered and in my opinion another will never be found. You will drive yourself crazy trying to find one.
