I’m not too familiar with this type but would like to know if there is evidence of a DDR? Here are pictures and thank you. 269D86A3-319A-4F1E-8355-47C7FFCC116D.jpeg 7F7F1DBE-8035-47C2-B296-68DC9C4BBAFC.jpeg

    Die Deterioration issues.
Unnecessary extreme magnification will let you see the worn die strike problems.

Even if it's die doubling, which it isn't, nobody is going to pay you anything extra for it, so why are you even asking? Forgive my question if you're just the type that's into identifying and collecting worthless errors. Some of the members here are real big on identifying and collecting worthless errors. They even buy books and frequent the websites of talented experts who spent all their time cataloguing worthless errors so they don't let any they from time to time come across under extreme magnification slip through their fingers. If you're that type, forget the question, I get it. I don't get why you do it, but I get you do it.

Trying to find a coin without problems is more difficult than finding coins with problems.

Words truer have never been spoken. Especially at the level of magnification they're accustomed to using these days.

Nice close up photos, but a bit extreme and any error or variety that requires that type of magnification has no interest to this collector, but thanks for the post.

@eddiespin It’s individuals such as yourself that are good at insults when not in the person’s presence. I’m giving you your first Best Answer since you’re batting 0 in “Best Answers.” My suggestion to you is that “If you can’t say anything nice best not to say anything at all.” Get me?

I do get you. I just don't get why you do it. But then I already told you that, didn't I?

Yep... damn those worthless errors. what a waste of time. it's a waste of time to even comment about such matters. some of the members here are real big on wasting their time identifying and cataloguing matters that they deem worthless; then, commenting on them. i just don't get it, even though I get it. who would waste such time.

    some damn nice pics, though!

Perhaps a person like me with 75 years of collecting, virtually every circulation grade coin back to before 1900 and thousands of accumulated coins, might want to take a closer look and investigate the processes. And, perhaps such a person doesn't care if a person like you thinks it is a waste of time.
