help please on Midevil coin with snake reverse

    I saw an interesting coin recently. It has a snake or dragon on the back. I do not read midevil. Can someone here tell me who issued this coin and where it was minted? I am referring to the first coin. I think the second coin is the same.

    I think this coin is similar, but the lettering looks different to me.

    Probably Duchy of Milan, Crowned snake arms of Milan.

    That is a sesino minted for Gian Galeazzo Visconti as Duke of Milan but in Verona. It dates 1387-1402 AD. The obverse legend reads "D MEDIOLANI VERONE," the reverse legend "GALEAZ COMES VIRTVTVM". The reference is Crippa 10 or 11.
