It’s more than just a likes celebration. I looked at just over $500.00 in junk silver recently. I started with empty Whitman’s folders and was very surprised when I finished with all that silver coinage. I completely filled a Roosevelt dime folder and I almost filled the second one, just one coin away. I also was one coin short in filling in a Mercury dime folder, 1916–D. In Franklin halves I only need four to complete the set. And with the Liberty Walking halves, I only needed 17 coins to have the entire set. After going through all that junk silver a found a few. So last week I opened a small package that I’ve had for 6 years and got a big surprise. I had purchased the key and semi-key dates in low grade so now I only have 8 coins left. Looking at today’s prices I paid about half price for them. I’ll need to do two posts to get them in but here they are.
Congrats CN. @1stSgt22 Hey, I take exception to that comment about junk silver. Those look exactly like the ones I picked from circulation when I was a kid. I still have them.

Wish I had more! I know some sell what they call junk silver for melt sometimes but there are a lot of collectors who would love to have the coins, myself included! Sorry if I offended you!
I call it junk silver because that’s what my seller called it on the paperwork. It’s supposed to be low-grade and or damaged, and date silver coins. The dates I have found on some of mine you will not find in today’s Coins labeled as junk silver. I’ve had them for 6 plus years and never searched through them. I stopped buying them once they started charging 18 times face. Guess I should have waited longer.
My complete Walker collection is almost entirely junk silver. Honest, hard working half dollars...and I'm a cheap bastard.
When one passes the stage where you've considerably outlived your parents, and the majority of your family, you realize that time may be worth more than your "money". I don't believe you can practically take your money, which others covet, so I recommend you spend any excess for what you may find and enjoy. Eventually, any Silver coin sets that had been started, and remained incomplete, I just purchased those missing. Now Gold is a different story, and I don't mind wasting my remaining time in pursuit of missing or duplicate coins! Others will need to at least put some effort in converting your treasures. JMHO
My wife looks a bit worn like that but she's still a beauty much like your coins are. Thanks for the share CN keep 'um coming. This post will bring your score even higher congratulation!
Congratulations on both the likes and the silver filling albums. That was some nice pile of silver you bought.
Very impressive you nut. Can see you glued to your desk wishing and hoping what the next coin may bring.
