What type of holder is this?

    Looks to me like it's 'old' PCGS but @Conder101 would know for sure........

    It's a self slab (a holder you can buy that can be opened and closed). In the spot for the label, someone put in the label from what was a PCGS rattler holder (that was cracked out at some point). There is no telling if it's the same coin as was originally in the rattler but my guess would be it is not.

    Early PCGS label in an aftermarket holder and it looks like the coin is probably not the coin that originally went with that label.

    lol I was gonna say, it looks like a homemade version of an old PCGS label stuck in a generic modern edge view NGC slab. The label doesn't even fit the space for the label. I wouldn't trust that slab. Somebody's trying to pull a fast one by making it look like an old PCGS slab.

    Edit: I don't think I'd trust the coin either. Surface looks way too clean and off to me.
