I'll call it an MS 66+ That Morgan looks very clean and lustrous. There are virtually no distractions outside some minimal chatter in the left obverse field.
I'm going to say ms66. Not a lot of Morgans with such a nice obverse, in my opinion. Cheek and fields look clean and contact marks are minimal.
Forgot to say, it has Champagne colored toning. Almost like @ddddd and his Golden Morgan, but more pale.
I love it . I think it got 66+ This coin is amazing for A 1898 O Nice color , High eye appeal and nice strike . The reverse mark by the E is a die crack it looks like.
Try this exposure. Also bigger. Don’t click on it and enlarge. Try to see if this speaks to you more. I took multiple pics.
looks like a 66 to me. Great luster, mild toning, mostly clean cheeks. Only a very slightly weak strike.
I'll guess 66, it has massive luster. The only mark I see that amounts to anything is on the eagle's breast (I think)
Bag marks on both sides, a bit of collar discoloration, slight rim ding on reverse above and between O and F. MS-65 Hope I'm wrong in your favor. Very nice Morgan thanks for sharing.
I am not seeing any of those issues you mention. No rim dig, no collar discoloration. Two cool looking die cracks.
The pictures are too bright to truly judge but very likely MS 66 or better. Not proof like. Very nice.
I like it. I see they minted Morgan in Gold. I have several Morgan in Silver. I have an 1889 Silver Morgan of no noticeable mint. Most of what I have is Junk Silver, but I am new to the scene of collecting and my day job isn't furnishing gold.
