I don't have a pic yet but I keep it in my wallet to show my friends. I'm guessing that I have a variation of the double-died date for that year and mintmark. Has anyone heard or seen of this variation before?
You're not going to get a serious answer without a picture. A "fat" 9 could be dozens of things. There is just no way of diagnosing what you have without seeing it. Get that pic and everyone here will help you.
I have to talk my daughter into helping me with the pic~basically it's thick but the same height as the other numbers. I would geuss about 50% wider than the 6.
It's just the 9 that's big on mine. I am having a hard time uploading pix because my computer skills are limited and I have very little help from family.
