1836 Bust Dime

An 1836 Capped Bust Dime from the next to last year they were produced. I Crete this as a VF+. The mint produced 1,190,000 and this has a rarity rating of 3.

I don't know what it is about capped busts, but I love them.

But where do you find rarity ratings?

 

Nice, prices have gone up like crazy, the dimes especially. Here's my capped bust quarter but it has a counter stamp!

 

My dealer supplies them. I’ll try to remember to ask him.
