I respect that you are an expert in one area, but you are an arrogant critic when it comes to books. If you don't have something nice to say, silence is your friend. My opinion only!
What in the world are you talking about. This thread is about a wooden Dollar that was sent to me and how I fixed it. It has nothing to do with any book. If you are referring to me and my opinion on Stan McDonald's horrid book on errors then that's your problem that you didn't like what I said. But I tell the truth! I don't think anyone in my family or my circle of many friends think I'm arrogant. I'm nowhere near that my friend!
@paddyman98 I would never be as negative as you are about what someone reads and shares. How many books have you written? Family and circle of friends, come on dude this is CT not family feud. We are all experts in opinion designated or not. I try my best to be an expert in kindness, acceptance, and diligence. One must read to learn and expand one’s horizon, like it or not! Share what you know not what you think… I remember not so long ago you called yourself a specialist and suddenly now your an expert. Stay within your knowledge base, earn and learn. Read any good books lately, I have, the newest edition 2022 of Stan McDonald’s book of coin errors, it’s better and more comprehensive. I wish you continued success in your endeavors. MrQ
I do read. You have no idea how much of it. I will order Stans new book and see if it is truly better. Hey I was even acknowledged in Joe Cronin's new book Mint Errors to Die For Have you read that one? Excellent book! That's an inside joke. I've said it many times over the years that I do not consider myself an expert. You haven't been around long enough to know that. The older members understand what I mean. BTW.. Thanks you for sharing you're opinion. You just hit a nerve when you mentioned the word arrogant. I guess that means one thing to you and something different to me. Oh well.. Whatever. We'll see. Peace
