Mexican Gold: let's see your stinkin' gold!

    Mine's a 1945.

    The last "official" 50 peso was minted in 1947 and dated 1947...the restrikes were all dated 1947, but were minted in 1949 and later.

    I think I am in a twilight zone. Maybe even THE twilight zone.

    Ha!.........Was lucky to have the cash to purchase, at the right time. Added an extra 50P 1943 & 2-20 peso 'Aztec Calendars' later.

    I have 23 AV coins from Mexico.
    German States is my #1 collection/ have 223 gold coins from 130 different States.

    Indeed...arguably the best of Humphrey Bogart for many...plus here's a sub-trivia question: One of the kids in that movie grew up to act in some serious movies in the 60s and 70s...without looking it up, it was...?

    I would never clean mine, some is over 2500 years old. Looks/ smells fresh as the day they where minted.....
