Mughal Dynasty: Aurangzeb Alamgir (AH1068-1118/1658-1707 AD), AR Rupee, Azimabad (Patna) mint, AH1117/Ry 50, KM#300.16 (11.51 g, 21.39 mm)

Patna was re-named Azimabad by Aurangzeb's grandson Azim-us-Shan, who was appointed its governor. Coins till AH1117/Ry 49 bore the mint name Patna. This is the first issue with the mint name Azimabad. 037E799A-CED6-4DE3-B66C-6F3C9C54183C.jpeg
