Interesting texture on 1946 D LWC

    Ran across this cent today. Nothing rare or spectacular, but interesting. It has a very uniform but corroded look to it. A different look at toning.

    IMO it's environmental damage.

    Yes, it has a corroded look to it. I would speculate that it had sat in a damp environment for a very long time.
