1932-D Quarter-> is this a fake?

    Is this a fake 1932-D or is this how the mint mark is supposed to look? Or, is this a repunched MM? I noticed the die polishing lines. You can see them clearly in the first and last pictures. This one has me puzzled.

    looks like extra solder to me. But i am no expert in faked MM's

    Same here. You got to pull up some photos of a real '32 D to get a better opinion. Try Coinfacts or Heritage Auctions.

    yea I would have to agree...fake... around the D it should flow smoothly

    I would not pull out my checkbook on that one (even if it were deeply discounted).
