Yes, good example of such. This one in the OP might or might not be a different animal....Look at the edges of it - almost proof in some areas.
On the second photo, I can see a line around the rim, indicating it was cut out and paired with another coin, so magicians coin, in my opinion.

Thats interesting, It is said that a reverse die does not fit or lock into the obverse chamber, yet we see these graded and authenticated from time to time even US coins.
If it's in a slab then it's probably real? I know they're not infallible but this is a hard fake to pull off without leaving a sign.
I think this coin was studied quite a lot prior to slabbing as well. In addition the strike of the coin is just a bit different with some edges that look almost as a proof - a bit wider and squared off. Also, in hand struck rather better than usual.
