2010 US Mint Presidential $1 Coin Proof Set For Sale 2/11

well i dont want to break apart my mints set. you take the pres dollars away and it isnt the true full mint set anymore. so i get the presidential only set so i can put 1 in my albums.

UPS has changed a ton since you and I were with them Ken. I was at the OKC hub a few weeks back, and it's a complete different company. They do go the extra mile like in the old days.

My subscription was sent Fed-Ex on the 15th. It's been in OKC since yesterday, and scheduled for delivery Monday! Here in OKC for 5 days before it will get delivered! Good old Fed-Ex.

I like that "Hit the Door" qoute up there!

 

I just bought 1 and a roll of each of the Kennedy Halves. Matter of fact I sold all of my presidential dollars from the mint and spending the bank rolls. Just cant collect everything and these were on the bottom of my list. Will go ahead and keep 1 proof set from each year.

I said I think but I should have wrote that I know that had a problem with the plastic holder of the coins. I just went through 42 sets and almost all of had the same problem but after I took them out of the holders then were fine.
Here is a picture with the coin out of the holder.

Agreed, but I stopped buying proof sets when I sold off my nickel through dollar sets. Just didn't see the need to keep partial proof sets around, or go to the trouble of selling partial sets. I'm down to just one and two cents and the Prez dollars.

I stand completely correct Schatzy! When I finally put them under a strong light and looked at them, the plastic was definitely the problem. I guess looking through them while being home for 10 minutes over lunch while munching on a Subway sandwich was a pretty poor way to look them over. :bow: I bow to your superior knowledge.

 

Don't worry, I thought the same thing till I poped the first coin out.

 

Never view coins (or other objects for that matter) while in the presence of a "$5 footlong".....:smile

mine just came in the mail today. i was surprised as they were scheduled for delivery on monday.

 

I got my 2 today. No problems with the coins, but the packaging was very loose and floppy, and there was dirt and flakes of crap all over the inside of the cardboard holder.

 

Got mine today (two days earlier than I expected). They look good.
