A H. E. Harris Type Set, Coins of the Twentieth Century. For this set some coins are circulated and some are mint state. It contains a mixture of grades.

I have a number of folders that are near completion and I hope to finish them soon. Some need 4 or 5, others I only need 1 and a couple need about a dozen. I just can’t find the correct grades but I’m looking.

I just picked up a 20th century type set folder myself - can't wait to get started on it. I'll be adding mostly circulated stuff for sure though.

That is a nice folder of types; they should have put an extra slot for the copper and bronze IHC. I still like this one though.

I’ve had the folder awhile so I forget where I picked it up. I unpacked it and decided to fill it. It didn’t take too long to fill it.

I saw the HE Harris folders at Hobby Lobby a long time ago, no idea if they have this particular folder though. I was kind of surprised they didn't have the whitman ones but seemed to have all kinds of Harris ones.

I love those folders that display the type coins. A trip down memory lane for some of us old timers.

That is a nice album and good job filling it!

How expensive is this folder if you don't mind me asking? Been looking to manufacture such albums but am out on touch on prices.

@gxseries About $125.00, less if you had all lower grades, more if you had nicer grades.

@Collecting Nut : That is the total price for the coins and album, yes? What about just the album?

$125 is actually very reasonable and achievable for young generation. I know coin collecting can get quite expensive and that could be one of the reasons why younger people can get put off with.

Since is both low grade and a few high grade the cost went up. Easy to fill and not expensive. My price is the total cost of the folder and coins. 20th century coins are on the modern side so prices are cheaper but those silver issues go up and down with the price of silver. I’d one put the mind to it they could buy this folder and fill it by using the money they make mowing lawns in the summer.

Not expensive at all @furryfrog02 but I think you’d need to put 4 of them together.as your pond it getting full. Lol

those HE Harris folders, run about $5.99 each no matter what coin type they are. Hobby Lobby used to have a 50% off one item coupon on the website, I don't see it on there today, but back in the day you could get it for about $3.00, so I'd think they must have been even cheaper than that at wholesale pricing for them to make money still unless they figured the one item would get you in the door and maybe buy something else also at retail. Whitman basic blue coin folders also retail about $5.99.

whitman has a 20th century type set folder also
