I have been tasked to give a presentation at CPMX next month by the Midwest Chapter of the International Bank Note Society. I am open to suggestions. For those who may be going, what do you want to hear about? The presentation will be Saturday at Noon.
lettow: Tis a difficult question to ask since I do not really know you. From what I have gathered from your post's is that you are into Military History quite a bit. It seems to me that with interest growing in MPC's and since they were printed for our US Troops that would be an area of your expertise. One fact that interest me is why do we see "planchets" on MPC's and yet do not see them on any other US obligations? Were these not printed here by BEP?...SO with that a presentation on the History of Military Currency would greatly interest me to say the least. When I present, it is always a priority to know my audience, their interest, and their goals. Good luck. BTW... I just found your topic in another post, "I will be presenting on" the topic of "US Government Checks from WWII" for the IBNS on Saturday at noon. That should be very interesting..if you have a digital version of your presentation, I for one would enjoy the read. RickieB
