Found my first Toner of my collection

    Today upon examining a very dark 1972 Kennedy Half Dollar I discovered the back of this coin was toned! I was rather excited I know its not the most beautiful of toning to it and not the most valuable coin but I like it alot just figured I would share the pic with you so you can tell me what you think! :)

    I got my first toner the other week. It too was a Kennedy half. The back side had a reddish purple color to it. Very neat. The front has a rainbow-ish ring starting. Should look really cool when it comes through more.

    lol Thanks for the feedback! I thought it was really cool now I will have to keep my eye out for more! Im not making them the focal point of my collection but its neat to have one!

    Lehigh: Agreed.

    Awysocki: Glad you found it. Now, get your fingerprints off of the obverse. They'll be toned in a couple of years, and most unpleasantly.
