Believe this or not, this is the second one (different image though) I have found in a roll of cents within two years. Numista even have these play coins listed.
CRH long enough, you find many interesting objects. I've found plastic money a few times...batteries...knockouts. Even found a Mercury dime in a cent roll, and a small silver bar. Keeps things interesting.
We bought a cash register for our granddaughter, included were plastic pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and several play notes. To our surprise the coins looked very much like the real thing with the exception of the weight. What will they think of next? Thanks for the fond memory, enjoyed your post.
Someone is padding their rolls. LOL Wonder if one day they will add a token or play money that will actually be worth more than a cent? LOL
