100 Star $1.00 notes

    Just picked this up at an auction for a few dollars over face. Not sure why I even bid on it, but now I own it.

    Any thoughts on what I might do with it . . . other than pass them out to members here. LOL

    I would look for misprints because a star note means it was defective and had to be re-printed. And if any of them have any misprints, even after getting reprinted, it makes them that much more special.

    I kind of see the image of the other side of that top note. Bleed through?

    Yes. They all show bleed through, but within limits, so NAV.
    In fact, the only note with an even close "cool serial number" is this one, and it missed by a couple of digits.
